The humid material enters the mill along with the blast of hot gases. The ESTANDA transfer or drying diaphragm optimises the heat transfer between the material and the gases, thus allowing, by means of anti-wear cogs, the discharge of the dry material through the central ring to the first chamber.
The plates in the 1st chamber are designed to allow the material and hot gases to pass through with minimum load loss. The cast materials are chosen according to the working conditions (resistance to oxidation caused by thermal shock, abrasion, etc.).
The central screen is designed to prevent the balls entering the drying chamber.
