The inauguration of Estanda’s new machining processes plant

At the end of June, Estanda inaugurated its new plant for the machining and quality control of steel brake discs for high speed trains.

The new industrial plant is located in Olaberria (Guipúzcoa) and consists of 2000 m2 dedicated to a magnetic particle Quality Assurance Section (MFL), the latest technology in CNC machinery for turning operations, and a loading bay for brake disc expeditions to their international destinations.

This plant’s processes management systems comply with the requirements established in the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

This investment increases Estanda’s production capacity and competitiveness. The company now has three work centers within a radius of 20 Km, offering customers an improved service. Our Head Office and main industrial plant is in Beasain, but now reinforced with another two industrial plants in Ibarra and Olaberria.
