Slurry mil to the Heidelberg Cement Group

A slurry mill has been supplied to a cement plant (Heidelberg Cement) in the Middle East.

This regular customer commissioned the engineering department to prepare a new design and remodeling for a current line raw grinding project (SM1) (mill diameter = 3.2 m), including all steel components, from the mill inlet to the mill outlet: inlet walls, first and second chamber liner plates, middle diaphragm and outlet diaphragm.

All steel components, with the exception of the second chamber inlet walls, (steel with a 12.5% chrome content) have been manufactured in low alloyed steels, with chrome and molybdenum contents, with good resistance properties against wet abrasion.

The final product obtained by wet raw cement grinding meets the homogeneity and quality requirements of the customer.
