Materials and designs that stand out have been developed by ESTANDA for the tough conditions of impact, and the breaking up and crushing of stones and rocks (limestone, quartz, pebbles, etc.) produced in mines and quarries.
ESTANDA has developed a range of impact plates that are highly resistant to breakage; as the principal alloys, white castings, martensitic steels and manganese steels are used.
- Manganese steels, with a Mn content of 13 – 17 %.
- White chromium alloy castings, Cr content of 12 – 27 %.
- Low alloy martensitic steels.
